Reviewing and Entering Maintainability Data
In the System Tree Items table, you select an assembly or part so you that you can view and modify the repair data and repair tasks entered for this item in the Maintainability Data pane below.
1. In the System Tree Items table, select the following assemblies and review the data shown in the Maintainability Data pane:
◦ Motherboard
◦ Touchpanel
◦ Memory Board
2. Now select Hard Disk Assembly. Currently, no data is present in the Maintainability Data pane.
3. In the Repair tasks table, click <Click here to insert a new record> to insert the first task.
4. For Task Code, select Remove HD Assy.
5. To insert a second task, click <Click here to insert a new record> again and for Task Code, select R/R Hard Disk.

R/R stands for “Remove and Replace.”

6. To insert the third and final task, click<Click here to insert a new record> again and for Task Code, select Replace HD Assy.
On the upper right side of the pane, the following display-only fields are updated: Totals, Number of items, Total time (Mct), and Manminutes. Windchill Maintainability pulls in the times for performing the three repair tasks that you inserted from Maintainability Task Library files.
