Part Parameters Required for Predictions
Each calculation model requires its own set of parameters for the various parts that it supports. The parameters required for a part can vary significantly across calculation models. The following table describes the topics included in this section.
Topic
Description
Specifies the General part categories and subcategories supported by many calculation models.
Describes the stress parameters that may be required by the calculation model. The stresses covered include voltage, power, current, and temperature.
Describes the part parameters for parts supported by MIL-HDBK-217 models.
Describes the part parameters for parts supported by Telcordia and Bellcore models.
Describes the part parameters for parts supported by the HRD5 model.
Describes the part parameters for parts supported by FIDES models.
Describes the part parameters for parts supported by the IEC TR 62380 and RDF 2000 models.
Describes the part parameters for parts supported by 299B models.
Describes the part parameters for parts supported by 299C models.
Describes the part parameters for parts supported by 217Plus models.
Describes the part parameters for parts supported by the PRISM model.
Describes the part parameters for parts supported by the Siemens SN 29500 v1 model.
Describes the part parameters for parts inserted from the NPRD and EPRD Libraries.
Describes the part parameters for parts supported by the Mechanical model, which is based on the Handbook of Reliability Prediction Procedures for Mechanical Equipment, Document No. NSWC-98/LE1.
Describes the part parameters for software components when calculating failure rates using the software reliability equation from The Rome Laboratory Reliability Engineer's Toolkit, April 1993 issue, page 124-125.
Describes how to select a failure rate method and enter the necessary parameters for that method for a part that is user-defined.
