RBD Block Preview

When RBD block search results are shown in the Library Browse window, the Preview pane displays calculation properties for the selected block from those specified in its Calculation Properties window. The following table lists the headings that can appear in the Preview pane for a block and references the pages in its Calculation Properties window where these properties are specified. Only those properties that are enabled and have data entered are shown.

Turned Off indicates if the block inserted in the RBD Block Library file is turned off in the diagram from which it was inserted. This checkbox is not shown in the block’s Calculation Properties window. When it is cleared, the block is turned on. When it is selected, the block is turned off.

Because the data shown in the Preview pane is display-only, to make changes to the properties for the block, you must open the RBD Block Library file in which it is stored and then modify its calculation properties from there. For more information, see Viewing and Modifying Block Properties in an RBD Block Library File. Once you insert a library block into a System file, you can modify the calculation and visual properties for only this occurrence in its Properties window.
