Opening a Project Using an Open Command

When no files are open, you can select File > Open > Project to open a Project in the Project Properties window. For more information, see Project Properties Window.

1. Select File > Open > Project. The Select Project window opens. For more information, see Select Project Window.

2. Select the Project and click Open. The Project opens in the Project Properties window.

If you open a Project from an earlier version, an attempt is made to convert it to a Windchill Risk and Reliability 12.0.3.0 Project in real time. For more information, see Converting a Prior Project in Real Time.

In the Options window, General > List file types on New and Open submenus controls whether submenus for the Open command are shown. When this checkbox is selected (default), submenu commands are shown. When it is cleared, submenu commands are not shown. For more information, see General User Options.
