Filter File Panes

A Filter file stores the filters you have been created. It has three panes in which you manage filters and specify record selection and sort order criteria. Because the supplied Master Filter file is read-only, you cannot modify it. The following table describes the panes in a Filter file.

Pane	Description
Filter Definition	Displays the filters inserted in the Filter file. For more information, see Filter Definition Pane.
Build Filter	Displays the selection criteria for the filter selected in the Filter Definition pane. For more information, see Build Filter Pane.
Order By	Displays the order by criteria for the filter selected in the Filter Definition pane. For more information, see Order By Pane.
