Calculation method
|
The Telcordia calculation method to use as the default for parts inserted in a Prediction Defaults or Parts Library file. The default is Method I Case 3. For more information, see Telcordia Calculation Methods.

Calculation model
|
The calculation model to use as the default for parts inserted in a Prediction Defaults or Parts Library file. All models you have licensed are available for selection. If you have licensed MIL-HDBK-217, MIL-HDBK-217 FN2 is the default. Otherwise, the default is the first model in the choice list. For model descriptions, see Prediction Calculation Models.

Default model for new records
|
The calculation model to use as the default in the Add Derating Item window, which provides for inserting a new part in the Project’s Prediction Derating file. All models you have licensed are available for selection. If you have licensed MIL-HDBK-217, MIL-HDBK-217 FN2 is the default. Otherwise, the default is the first model in the choice list. The defaults entered for the model selected in the Add Derating Item window apply to all variations of that model. Thus, if MIL-HDBK-217 is selected, the defaults entered apply to FN2 and FN1 (Parts Count and Parts Stress). For more information, see Prediction Derating Files.
