Weibull Results Pane for a Non-Parametric Life Data Set
When a non-parametric life data set is selected in the LDA Navigator, once it is calculated, results are shown in the Weibull Results pane. To calculate a non-parametric data set, you either click the first button in the title bar of a Parameters pane or perform the procedure described in Calculating Weibull Results. The following table describes the display-only columns that appear in the Weibull Results pane.
Column
Description
Start Time
For grouped inspection data or for interval data, the time at which the inspection or the interval started. For the Interval data type, the start time is generally immediately after the last inspection was completed.
End Time
The time at which the inspection was performed or the interval ended, which is generally just prior to beginning the next inspection.
Reliability
The calculated reliability at each time based on the failure data specified in the Weibull Data Points pane.
Lower Bound
The likelihood that a value is within some specified lower range based on the confidence type and percentage level specified in the Weibull Parameters pane.
*
When None is selected for Confidence type (default), lower and upper bound are not calculated. If you select some other choice, the number signs (#.#) that initially appear are replaced with the results calculated for these bounds. For more information, see Confidence Types.
Upper Bound
The likelihood that a value is within some specified upper range based on the confidence type and percentage level specified in the Weibull Parameters pane.
