Updating a Block from its Calculation Properties
You can update the active block in the System file with the data for a library block from the Calculation Properties window for the System file block. When you enter a library identifier in the Calculation Properties window for a System file block, the data for the System file block is replaced with the data for the library block. For an update to occur, the library identifier that you enter must exactly match the identifier assigned to a library block.
1. In the RBD Table, select the diagram.
2. In the RBD Diagram pane, double-click the block to open its Calculation Properties window. For more information, see Block Calculation Properties.
3. On the General page, for Library Identifier, enter the library identifier for the library block having the data to use in the update.
4. To the right of Library Identifier, click Update.
If an exact match of this identifier is found in an enabled RBD Block Library file, the data for this library block is retrieved and copied to the System file block. If an exact match of this identifier is not found, a message appears, indicating that the entered library identifier was not found.
Upon updating the System file block with the library block, Library Retrieval, a display-only property in the Calculation Properties window for the System file block, displays the name of the RBD Block Library file in which this library block is stored.
