The Spares page in the View Calculation Results window displays cost results for spares based on costs entered in the Project’s RBD Spares file. For more information, see RBD Spares Files.

For spares costs to be calculated, on the General page for RBD calculations, you must have selected Cost, which is shown under Other Calculations. For more information, see General Page. If you did not select this checkbox, or if no spares pools are inserted in the RBD Spares file, no spares cost calculations are run. In this case, the Spares page displays the following message: No spares costs have been calculated. If you did select this checkbox but did not supply cost values in the Calculation Properties windows for blocks, NA (for Not Applicable) is shown in the resulting table.

In the upper right corner of the Spares page, Spares Pool provides for specifying whether results are shown for all spares pools or for a specific spares pool. The default is to show the costs associated with all spares pools. However, you can select a specific spares pool to view only the costs associated with it.
