Properties
Description
Replenishment
The properties under this heading provide information about the replenishment of spares.
Replenish spares
Indicates whether to replenish spares. When this checkbox is cleared (default), additional spares are not added to the spares pool when spares are used up. In this case, once the spares pool is depleted, it is assumed that replacing a failed component with a spare is no longer possible. When this checkbox is selected, the options beneath it become available so that you can supply information about the replenishment of spares.
Replenishment level
Indicates the value to use to determine when to replenish spares. During replenishment, the total number of onsite and offsite spares in the spares pool is brought back up to the initial level. For example, assume that the replenishment level is 6 and the initial level is 10. When the total quantity of spares in the spares pool falls to 6, the total number is brought back up to 10. If the maximum total number of spares onsite and offsite is equal to or less than the value for the replenishment level, a new spare is assumed to be ordered every time a spare or component is discarded. The default is 0.
Replenishment lead time
The time delay in hours to replenish spares. The default is 0.
