Repair properties
The properties under this heading provide information about repairing a failed unit.

Cost of repair
|
The cost associated with repairing the component. This cost can include the cost of auxiliary components used during repair or any other costs for which you want to account. The default is 0.
|
Discard percentage
|
The percentage of time that a failed unit is sent to scrap or thrown away because repair is not feasible or possible. A discard percentage of 0 (default) means that a failed unit is never discarded but always repaired. A discard percentage of 100 means that a failed unit is always discarded.

Restoration time
|
The distribution to use to model the time to perform the repair. The default distribution is Constant Time with a duration of 0 hours. You use this field’s browse button to open the Distribution window. In it, you select the distribution and specify or modify the values for its input parameters. Transportation time
The properties under this heading provide information about transporting a repaired unit to the onsite and offsite spare locations.

|
The time in hours to transport a repaired unit to the onsite spare location.

|
The time in hours to transport a repaired unit to the offsite spare location.
