Handling of Links and Repeated Blocks for Diagram Library Files
In the System file, blocks can be linked to other items in the System file, to other block diagrams, or either have or be a repeated block. The following table describes how links and repeated blocks are handled when you insert an entire diagram or selected diagram objects into an RBD Diagram Library file.

Has a data link
The data link set for any block in the System file is removed from the block in the resulting library diagram.
Has a diagram link
If a block diagram and all of its linked diagrams in the System file are selected for insertion in the RBD Diagram Library file, diagram links are retained by blocks in the resulting library diagrams. However, if a linked diagram is not also selected for insertion, the diagram link to it is removed from the block in the resulting library diagram.
Is a repeat
The Repeat of designation for any repeated block in the System file is retained if the block that it repeats is also selected for insertion in the resulting library diagram.
