Cutting, Copying, and Pasting Phases
You can cut a phase from one phase diagram and paste it in a different phase diagram in the same System file. You can also copy a phase from one phase diagram and paste it in either in the same diagram or a different diagram in the same System file. All diagram links for the cut or copied phase are pasted along with the phase.
Cutting or Copying a Phase
To cut or copy a phase, do one of the following:
Right-click it and select Cut or Copy.
Click it and then select Edit > Cut or Edit > Copy.
Pasting a Phase
To paste a cut or copied phase, do the following:
1. To paste a phase in a different phase diagram, in the RBD Table, select the diagram in which to paste the phase.
While you can copy a phase and paste it in either the same diagram or a different diagram, when you cut a phase, you can only paste it in a different diagram.
2. In the RBD Diagram pane, right-click a phase adjacent to where to paste the cut or copied phase and select Paste Phase Before or Paste Phase After the shortcut menu.
A window opens, indicating progress. One the paste finishes, phases are renumbered. You can move phases around to improve the look of the diagram.
3. View and modify the calculation properties for the pasted phase. For more information, see Viewing and Modifying Phase Calculation Properties.
