Steps for Completing the Prediction FIDES Mission Profile File
The following table provides guidance on the steps you take to complete the Project’s Prediction FIDES Mission Profile file. In addition to supplying general instructions and descriptions, this topic references other topics where appropriate. These referenced topics typically describe how to perform the actions indicated.

The actions in the following table are numbered to indicate that they are performed sequentially. To successfully complete the Prediction FIDES Mission Profile file, you must complete these actions in the order in which they are listed.

1. Open the Project’s FIDES Mission Profile file and insert the necessary mission profiles.

The FIDES Mission Profile file is a singular support file that is created when the Project is created. Open the FIDES Mission Profile file and insert a mission definition for each unique mission profile. For more information, see Inserting a FIDES Mission Profile.

2. For each mission profile, insert the appropriate phases.
|
For each mission definition, insert the phases in the mission. For more information, see Inserting a FIDES Mission Profile Phase.

3. Enable the profile in the FIDES Mission Profile file to use for prediction calculations.

In the Calculation Data pane for the top-most assembly, ensure that a FIDES model is selected for Calculation model. Then, select the profile to use for reliability calculations. For more information, see Enabling the FIDES Mission Profile to Use for Prediction Calculations.
