Hybrid Data for 299 Models
When Hybrid is selected in the General Data pane for an assembly, the following form is shown in the Hybrid pane if a 299 model is selected.
The following table describes the data fields that appear in the Hybrid pane for a 299 model.

Foreign | Available for a 299C model only, specifies whether Foreign in the part’s Prediction Data pane indicates that it was manufactured in China. When this checkbox is selected, the part was not manufactured in China. In this case, the failure rate for the foreign-made part is calculated according to Appendix A of the 299C standard. |
Hybrid quality (299) | The quality screening level used in the manufacturing of the hybrid. • Level A4 = 0.25 • Level B1 = 0.50 • Level B2 = 1.00 • Level C = 14.0 |
Hybrid learning factor | Indicates the production level for the device. Choices are: • New in Production • No Quality Control • Stable |
Hybrid junction temperature rise (°C) | The junction temperature rise in degrees C to use in the calculation of the failure rate for the hybrid. |
Hybrid junction temperature override (°C) | An override value to use in place of the junction temperature calculated for the hybrid. The units are degrees C for all temperatures. If you enter a value for this parameter, this value is used in place of a calculated junction temperature for the hybrid. |
Hybrid circuit function | The primary function of the circuit. |
Hybrid mounting substrate area (cm^2) | The area on which the hybrid is mounted. The unit is cm2. |
Hybrid network complexity | Indicates whether the hybrid uses thick film or thin film network resistors. |
Hybrid number of thick film resistors | The number of thick film resistors in use on the hybrid. |
Hybrid number of thin film resistors | The number of thin film resistors in use on the hybrid. |
Hybrid technology and package | Indicates the fabrication process of the hybrid. |
