Completing a FIDES Lead Free Factor File

In the Prediction FIDES Lead Free Factor file, you provide production information and then complete the question set so that the display-only results described in FIDES Lead Free Scoring are calculated. To open this file type, a FIDES 2009 model must be selected for the top-most assembly.

1. If the Prediction FIDES Lead Free Factor file is not already open, then open it.

2. In the upper left corner, do the following:

a. For Production quantity, select the range for the number of lead free assemblies produced weekly.

b. For Years of production, enter the number of years at which production has been at this level. The default is 0. You can enter only a positive integer in this field.

3. For each question in the table, either select Yes or No in its Answer column or leave it blank to indicate that the question is not applicable. The display-only results are updated each time you make a change.

4. When finished answering all questions, close the Prediction FIDES Lead Free Factor file.

5. Assign Prediction FIDES Lead Free Factor files to assemblies. For more information, see Enabling a Prediction FIDES Application Factor File for a FIDES Assembly or Part.
