Specifying Values for a Variable that Varies Over Alternatives

As described in Inserting an LCC Variable in the Variables Pane, when Varies Over Alternatives is selected as the variable type, a two-column table appears in the Variable pane in the LCC Variables file. In this table, you specify the value to use for each system design alternative. The number of table rows is equal to the number of system design alternatives that are inserted in the Alternatives pane. The following table provides column descriptions.

Column	Description
Alternative Name	Displays the alternatives that are inserted in the Alternatives pane. This column is display-only. For more information, see Inserting an Alternative in the Alternatives Pane.
Value	The value to use for the alternative. For each alternative, you must enter the value to use for the variable selected in the Variables table above.
