Select Transfer from Gate Window

The Select Transfer from Gate window provides options for linking the transfer-in gate to the transfer-out gate. The transfer-out gate then becomes the top gate on a new fault tree page. For the transfer-out gate, you can either insert a new gate or select an existing top gate in the System file. The following table describes the options in this window. Option	Description
New gate	Provides for linking the transfer-in gate to a new gate. When this option is selected (default), Description and Gate type are available so that you can specify the necessary information for inserting this gate.
Description	The description to assign to the gate.
Gate type	The type of gate to insert as the top gate on the new page.
Existing gate	Provides for linking the transfer-in gate to an existing top gate. When this option is selected, all top gates in the FTA Table are listed so that you can select the one to use as the top gate on the new page.
Go to transfer now	Indicates which page to make active once you click OK. When this checkbox is cleared (default), the current page remains active. When this checkbox is selected, the page with the linked transfer-out gate becomes active.
