The FTA Style Definition pane displays an Edit Style button and a Preview area. The Preview area contains a sample of the style selected in the FTA Styles pane based on currently specified properties.

When you click Edit Style, the Properties window opens for the selected style. The visual properties for a style are basically the same as those for the object itself. For more information, see Fault Tree Object Visual Properties. Once you click OK in the Properties window, any changes that you have made to the style are saved and the Preview area is updated.

While you can modify styles for all fault tree objects as described in Viewing and Modifying FTA Styles, you can insert only new label styles. For more information, see Inserting Label Styles in the FTA Style File.
