Deleting a Fault Tree Level
You can use the Delete Level command to delete the gate for a level but not its children. This command differs from the Delete command, which deletes the selected gate along with all of its children.
The Delete Level command is available when the gate selected has only a single gate as an input. If the gate selected has multiple gates as inputs, this command is unavailable.
To delete a gate and move the single lower-level gate beneath it up a level, do one of the following:
Right-click the gate and select Delete Level.
Select the gate and then select FTA > Delete Level.
