P-diagrams are used to eliminate or mitigate noise factors so that ideal system performance is delivered to customers. P-diagrams are also called parameter diagrams. Because they integrate noise factors into the analysis, p-diagrams uncover potential root failure mode causes that might be otherwise overlooked in functional FMEAs. Only the Enterprise Edition supports p-diagrams.
