Non-Required FMEA Fields
In the FMEA Design file, all non-required fields appear in white rows. Some non-required fields are included in a new FMEA Design file by default because these fields are recommended. You can insert any number of additional non-required fields beneath the various data levels in the FMEA Design file.
If a
FMEA field is not shown in the
FMEA Design file, it cannot be used in any other file. This means that it cannot be used in
Form Design,
Table Format,
Filter,
Calculation, and
Report Design files. You must insert all non-required fields that you want to use in the appropriate levels in the
FMEA Design file. For more information, see
