Inserting a FMEA Key Record
In the FMEA Key Definition pane, you can insert any number of records with criteria for the key fields selected in the Project’s FMEA Design file. For more information, see FMEA Design Files.
1. If the FMEA Fault Equivalence file is not already open, then open it.
2. In the last row in the FMEA Key Definition pane, click < Click here to insert a new record >. A new record is inserted.
3. Complete the fields for this record. For more information, see FMEA Key Definition Pane.
4. Once the criteria for the key record is specified, in the FMEA Worksheet pane, specify the data to copy into the System file when an exact match of this criteria is found. For more information, see Specifying the FMEA Data for a Key Record.
You can directly modify records in the FMEA Key Definition pane. You can also copy, cut, paste, and delete records in the same manner as in the System file. Deleting a record also deletes the data that you inserted for it in the FMEA Worksheet table.
