The Suppress Warnings page displays the Suppress warning messages in import/export log checkbox. It indicates whether you want to turn off warning messages in the log generated during an import. You only select this checkbox if you want to limit the messages shown to errors. For example, an import that adds FMEA Tree Items records requires the Part field. However, an import that updates FMEA Tree Items records prints a warning message for every record. This message indicates that the Part field cannot be updated. With the log filled with all these ‘meaningless’ warning messages, it becomes difficult to find and focus on error messages. In such cases, you would want to select Suppress warning messages in import/export log to hide warning messages.
