Project Location and Selection Options for Enterprise Edition
The Project Location page is shown by several wizards in the Enterprise Edition. On this page, you specify whether the Project is in an Enterprise database or in a Team Project folder on your local file system.
The following table describes the options on the Project Location page as well as the Select Project page that appears for the Database system and File system options. In addition to being shown by the New Project Wizard, these pages are shown by other wizards, such as those for creating files and copying files from a Project.
Option
Description
Database system
When selected (default), the Project is in the Enterprise database. When you click Next, the Select Project page lists all Projects in the database.
File system
When selected, the Project is in a Team Project folder on your local file system. When you click Next, the Select Project page lists all Team Projects that have been created in the My Windchill Risk and Reliability Files folder for the current installation. You would use the browse button in the upper right corner of this page to add a Project from another local directory to this list. For more information, see Browse Button Usage.
