Inserting a Rich Text Control
When customizing a Start page or a dashboard, you can insert a Rich Text control. You use this control to add formatted text to the page. To accomplish this, you insert the control, set its title, and then enter and format the text.
1. If necessary, click Customize to view the customization area.
2. Click the Rich Text button.
The control is inserted on the page. You can now specify settings.
3. In this control, select Options > Settings. The Control Settings Wizard starts and displays the Select Text page.
4. For Control Title, enter the text to display on the control; then, click Next. The Wizard Complete page appears.
5. Click Finish. The control is updated with the specified title. You can now enter and format the rich text.
6. In this control, select Options Edit. Windchill Risk and Reliability places you in the edit mode.
The toolbar for applying formatting to the text is shown above the area in which you enter text.

7. Enter text, using the toolbar to format it in whatever way you want.
8. In this control, select Options > Save when finished. Your changes are saved, and you are taken out of edit mode.
The control is updated, showing only the formatted text.
