Inserting a Recent Files Control
When customizing a Start page, you can insert a Recent Files control, which lists as many as the last 10 files you have viewed. In this control, you click a file name to quickly open the file.

By default, only System files are shown in a Recent Files control. However, if you want other types of files to show, you can clear Save only System files in the recent files list under General in the Options window. For more information, see General User Options.
1. If necessary, click Customize to view the customization area.
2. Click the Recent Files button.
The control is inserted on the page. As you open files, this control is updated. On the right side of this control’s title bar, you can select Options Clear List to clear this control. As with all other controls, you can also refresh or remove it.

Clicking the name for a Report Design or Report Binder file runs the one or more reports instead of opening the file for editing.
