Inserting an Alerts Control
When customizing a Start page, you can insert an Alerts control. You use this control to view the alerts set out by the Alerts application. This application monitors Project data and automatically sends email messages to notify particular users when specified events occur.
1. If necessary, click Customize to view the customization area.
2. Click the Alerts button.
The control is inserted on the page. When alerts are shown, you can click an alert to open the email message associated with the alert. Additionally, you can click the icon for the associated table type to open the corresponding System file to see the associated data.
