Description

---|---|---|---|
All inputs align to center of gate
Indicates whether inputs coming into a gate are to meet at a single point. When this checkbox is selected (default), inputs all meet on the horizontal line, which means that only one vertical line is needed to connect them to the center of the parent gate. When this checkbox is cleared, inputs do not meet on the horizontal line, which means that they each have their own vertical line to connect them to the center of the parent gate.
Display repeat counts
Indicates whether to show a count of the number of times an event is repeated above and to the left of a repeated event. When this checkbox is selected (default), the count is shown in the diagram and also appears on FTA reports. When this checkbox is cleared (default), the count is not shown in the diagram or on FTA reports.
Display repeated events with a different color
Indicates whether to show repeated events in a different color. When this checkbox is selected (default), repeated events are shown in the color specified for Repeated event color. When this checkbox is cleared, repeated events are shown in the same purple color as other events.
False gate/event color
The color in which to show the calculation results label for a gate or event with a logical condition set to False. The default color is green.
Figure alignment
The way to align the tree within the diagram page. Choices are Center, Left, and Right. The default is Center.
FTA calculation type
The method for calculating trees. The default for newly inserted System files and certain FTA support files is the type selected for Default FTA calculation type in the Project properties. Before any events are inserted in one of these files, you can usually override the default by selecting a different FTA calculation type for this particular file. Choices are:
• Time Dependent — When selected (default), the standard time dependent method is used to determine availability or reliability.
• Lambda Tau — When selected, Lambda Tau analysis is used to determine availability or short-term reliability when component or system age is unknown or indeterminate.
• SAE ARP4754A and ARP4761 — When selected, these guidelines and methods are used to assess safety of civil airborne systems and equipment.
If this property is display-only when no events are inserted, the file contains a special gate that prohibits you from changing the calculation type. You cannot change the calculation type when a time dependent tree has a dynamic gate or when an SAE tree has a sequencing AND gate.
Gate/Event symbol size (in)
The size in inches for the graphic symbols (bitmaps or line drawings) that represent gates and events. The default is 0.585938.
Gate/Event text box height (in)
The height of the text box for the gate or event in inches. The default is 0.5625.
Gate/Event text box width (in)
The width of the text box for the gate or event in inches. The default is 1.5.
Repeated event color
The color to use for a repeated event if Display repeated events with a different color is selected. The default color is green.
True gate/event color
The color in which to show the calculation results label for a gate or event with a logical condition set to True. The default color is red.
