Customizing the Start Page Image and Text
Only system administrators can customize the image and text that displays on all Start pages. If you are logged in as a system administrator, you can use the Customize Windchill Risk and Reliability command to specify the image to appear at the top of all Start pages. You can also specify the text that displays below this image but above the first control on the page. This command is available only when a Start page is active.

While no size limit exists on the image, you should keep it fairly small to display on the page properly.

1. If necessary, select > to make the last selected Start page active.
2. Select > . The Customize Windchill Risk and Reliability window opens.
You use the navigation pane on the left to select the page on which you want to view properties.
3. To specify the image to display:
a. Select the Custom Start Page Image page.
b. Select Show custom image on Start page. The Browse button in the lower right corner becomes available.
c. Click Browse. The Open window opens.
d. Navigate to and select the image file; then, click Open.
The selected image is shown in the banner on the Custom Start Page Image page.
If you wanted to remove the custom image, you would clear Show custom image on Start page.
4. To specify the text to display:
a. Select the Start Page Text page.
b. Select Show my custom text on the Start page. The area below becomes active.
c. Enter the text you want to display on Start pages.
5. Click OK. The image and text that you specified are now shown at the top of all Start pages.
