Changing Your Log-in Password
When you start the
Enterprise Edition, you are required to log in to the application. For more information, see
Logging In to the Enterprise Edition. After
Windchill Risk and Reliability starts, you can use the
Change Password command to change your user account password. This command is available when no files are open or when the Start page is active.
1. Do one of the following to make the Change Password command available:
◦ Close all files.
◦ Select > .
3. Make the necessary modifications.
4. When finished, click OK. Provided that all values are entered correctly, the password is changed and the Change Password window closes.
If, however, the value entered for Current password is incorrect or the values entered for New password and Verify new password do not match or are the same as the current password, a window opens, indicating the problem encountered.
If a window with an error message appears, you must click OK to close it. In most cases, the Change Password window remains open, which means that you can repeat steps 3 and 4 until the new password is verified. If, however, this window closes, you can repeat steps 2 through 4 to attempt to change your password again.
