Assigning a Password to a Team File
You can assign a password to a Team file. A password can either prevent access to a database file by other users or it can limit access to the read-only mode.
*
Because passwords are case-sensitive, you must pay special attention to the use of upper and lower case when assigning passwords to database files. If you forget the password for a database file, you are unable to open it. Be sure to remember all passwords!
1. Open the Team file.
2. Select File > Set Password. The Set Password window opens.
3. Complete this window. For more information, see Set Password Window.
4. When finished, click OK.
