The Alert file has a Properties window in which email account, alert history, and error log properties are specified. By default, the email settings that are configured in the desktop version of the Administrator application are used to send alerts. To use a different email account, you must specify settings for it in the Alert File Properties window for the Alert file. To open this window from the Alert file, select View Alert File Properties.
