Permissions
Permissions are available only in the Enterprise Edition. In versions prior to Relex Studio 2008, a Can Create/Delete Projects permission existed. When converting files created prior to Studio 2008, this permission is split into two separate permissions: Can Create Projects and Can Delete Projects.
These permissions, which are set in the Users area in Windchill Risk and Reliability Administrator, are granted to specific users. Any user who had Can Create/Delete Projects permission has both Can Create Projects and Can Delete Projects permissions. Any user who did not have Can Create/Delete Projects permission, does not have either Can Create Projects or Can Delete Projects permissions.
When a new user is inserted in the converted Project, he or she does not have the
Can Create Projects or the
Can Delete Projects permission. If the user is assigned to the Administrators group after insertion, he or she does have both the
Can Create Projects and
Can Delete Projects permissions, and these permissions cannot be removed as long as the user remains a member of this group. Only users with
Can Delete Projects permission
can delete Projects in the Enterprise database. For more information, see the help or guide for
