Master Files
Master files are read-only support files that are used by default. The following table describes the four supplied master files and provides references to topics supplying additional information. To supplement or replace items in a master file, you create and enable additional files of this type in your Projects.

Master Filters
Populated with commonly used filters. For example, FRACAS filters are included for selecting only open incidents or only closed incidents. Prediction Filters are also included for selecting only parts with certain part numbers or reference designators. The filters in this Filter file are available for selection in all System files in all Projects.
Master List Library
Populated with commonly used lists, a few of which are attached to text-based data fields by default. For example, the Maintenance Levels list is attached to Repair Level in the Maintainability module so that an appropriate repair level definition can be selected from this list.
Master Markov Style Library
Populated with commonly used styles for Markov states, transitions, and labels. Default styles for each object type are specified under Markov in the System file properties. For more information, see Markov System File Properties.
Master RBD Style Library
Populated with commonly used styles for RBD connectors, blocks, junctions, and labels. Default styles for each object type are specified under RBD in the System file properties. For more information, see RBD System File Properties.
When no files are open, you can use the Open File window to open a read-only master file. You cannot open a master file from the Project Navigator or Project Properties window. For Project, a special Windchill Risk and Reliability Project choice is present in the Open File window when no files are open. If you select it, the supplied master files are shown in the Files list. If you select one of these files and click Open, this read-only file opens.
