Stress Data Validation
As described in Stress Model Window, the stress data for an ALT life data is validated when you click OK. The minimum number of stress values required is based on your selection for Conversion. Additionally, the number of active stresses required is based on your selection for Life stress model.
When Arrhenius, Eyring, or Inverse Power Law is selected, you must have one active stress.
When Temperature-Humidity is selected, you must have two active stresses.
When Temperature-NonThermal or Generalized Eyring is selected, you must have two active stresses. In this case, for Thermal Stress, which is made available, you indicate the stress that is a temperature.
When Proportional Hazards or General Log-Linear is selected, you must have at least one active stress and can have as many as 10 active stresses.
Each active stress is shown as a column in the ALT Data Points pane. If too few or too many stresses are active when you click OK in the Stress Model window, another window opens, with a message indicating the problem. Messages that you might see follow:
The model you have selected allows only one active stress column.
The model you have selected requires two active stress columns.
The model you have selected requires only two active stress columns.
The model you have selected requires one active Thermal and one active NonThermal stress column.
