ALT Panes
The ALT module displays panes in three windows, which are always vertically split. For this module, and for the similar Weibull module, the Split Windows Vertically command is unavailable because you cannot change the orientation of the System file from a vertical split to a horizontal split.
The LDA Navigator, which appears in the upper left window, is used by both this module and the Weibull module. You use the LDA Navigator to select an analysis type and manage data sets. Your selection in this window determines the panes that are shown in the other two windows. For more information, see LDA Navigator.
In the other panes, you enter parameter values and data points, and you view calculation results and plots. The following topics describe the panes for each type of analysis that the ALT module supports:
In the panes in which you enter parameter values, tool buttons appear on the right side of their title bars to provide quick access to calculations and generated plots. Their availability depends not only on the type of data set selected but also on the parameter values specified. These same buttons are used by the Weibull module. For more information, see Analysis Tool Buttons.
