Viewing Parts in Parts Library Files

Getting Started with Windchill Risk and Reliability > Windchill Prediction > Using Windchill Prediction > Viewing Parts in Parts Library Files

In some cases, you might not know an exact part number. In these cases, you can browse the parts in Prediction Parts Library files to select the part to insert.

1. Select the Parts Table.

2. Right-click the table row with the asterisk (*) and select Browse Libraries. The Library Browse window opens.

3. Leave Search for set to Prediction Parts.

4. For Part Number, enter 74HCT* and click Search.

All parts that begin with 74HCT are shown in the Results table.

5. In the Results table, scroll down to locate 74HCT373.

6. Click this row to see the associated part parameter values in the Preview pane.

7. In the menu for the Results table, click the + Insert button to insert the part in the Parts Table, which is visible on the right.

You can also drag and drop parts from the Library Browse window to insert them in the Parts Table. Click the desired part’s row in the Results table and, while still holding down the left mouse button, drag the part to insert it at the end of the Parts Table.
