Service Startup
After Windchill Risk and Reliability is installed on the application server and the database creation or conversion has run successfully, all Windchill Risk and Reliability services should be running. Usually, these services are started automatically. However, to ensure that this is the case, you can restart the application server, which starts all services. Or, on the application server, you can use the Microsoft Windows Services application to check the status of these services. You can then manually start any that are not running.

When manually starting Windchill Risk and Reliability services, you must start the Long Running Task service before any of the other services.
1. From the Windows Start menu, select the shortcut for the Control Panel.
2. If available in the left pane, select Classic View to view all options.
3. Double-click Administrative Tools.
4. Double-click Services. Installed services are listed in alphabetical order. All Windchill Risk and Reliability services have Windchill Risk and Reliability at the start of their names.
5. If a Windchill Risk and Reliability service is not started, right-click it and select Start from the shortcut menu.
