Overview
Windchill Risk and Reliability Data Engine functions are used to read, edit, add, delete, and export table records in the FMEA, FRACAS, and FTA modules. Functions are also used with records in Data Definition files, List Library files, and FRACAS Lookup Table files.
Data Engine functions can also be used to do the following:
• Generate graphs and reports
• Retrieve raw data for graphs and reports
• Create hyperlinks to specific records
• Retrieve lists of Projects and files to which users have access
• Delete, download, and upload attachment files
• Synchronize external data with Windchill Risk and Reliability data
• View calculation options, start calculations, and view calculation progress
• Retrieve alert and workflow messages
|
• The Windchill Risk and Reliability Data Engine requires an available license to run. To access data specific to a module, a license for that module is required. For example, to access FRACAS data, a Windchill FRACAS license is required. If data pertains to multiple modules, it can be accessed when any relevant module is licensed.
• This help provides descriptions for general functions in alphabetical order. However, functions specific to FRACAS Lookup Table files are described in the final section, FRACAS Lookup Table Functions. The Windchill Risk and Reliability Extension for ThingWorx does not support the functions specific to FRACAS Lookup Table files.

You must have the appropriate permissions to run Data Engine functions. Your system administrator specifies permissions in Windchill Risk and Reliability Administrator.
