System Administrators versus Project Administrators
Access to Windchill Risk and Reliability Administrator is limited to users who are assigned to the Administrators group. These users are referred to as system administrators. They have full permissions for all functions, system components, and support files. They can also insert and define groups and users.
Additionally, when a system administrator opens a Project in the Project Properties window in the Windchill Risk and Reliability, he or she can designate specific users as Project administrators. Project administrators are granted the permissions necessary to create and modify System and support files for particular Projects. Project administrators do not have access to Windchill Risk and Reliability Administrator.

Prior to being able to use Windchill Risk and Reliability Administrator, the Enterprise Edition must be installed and the process for creating or converting the Windchill Risk and Reliability database must have run successfully. For more information, see the Windchill Risk and Reliability Enterprise Installation Guide. You can download this guide from the Reference Documents area on the PTC website. By default, the Administrator application has one user account, Admin, which belongs to the Administrators group.You must use this account to log in to Windchill Risk and Reliability Administrator for the first time. The password for Admin user is set during installation.
