The OData service is designed to support OData Protocol V4. Though all aspects of OData standard are not currently supported by Windchill Risk and Reliability REST Services, PTC intends to support minimum OData V4 compliance in subsequent releases of Windchill Risk and Reliability REST Services.

The key features of OData that are supported in the framework are discussed in the subsequent sections.
