Performing a Weibull Mean or Eta Calculation
You can use the General Statistics Calculator to solve for the Weibull mean or eta value.
1. If the General Statistics Calculator is not open, select > to open it.
2. In the navigation pane, click Weibull Mean and Eta.
3. Under Solve for, select Mean or η as the value for which to solve. Based on your selection, other parameters are made available under Parameters.
4. Under Parameters, do the following:
a. For β, enter the appropriate value for the shape parameter.
b. For Mean or η, enter the known value.
5. Click Calculate. The result for the value chosen for Solve for is shown in the display-only field under Result.
6. When finished, click Close.
