Performing a Chi-Square Calculation
You can use the General Statistics Calculator to compute the cumulative probability and the inverse of the cumulative probability for the Chi-Square distribution.
1. If the General Statistics Calculator is not open, select > to open it.
2. In the navigation pane, select Chi-Square.
3. For
Solve for, select the value for which to solve. Choices are Chi-Square Parameter and Cumulative Probability (%). For calculation information, see
Chi Square Calculations.
The parameter for which you are not solving and Dimension (degrees of freedom) become available under Parameters.
4. Enter the necessary values for these two parameters and click Calculate. The result for the value chosen for Solve for is shown in a display-only field under Results.
5. When finished, click Close.
