Performing a Binomial Calculation
You can use the General Statistics Calculator to compute the binomial distribution and its inverse.
1. If the General Statistics Calculator is not open, select LDA > General Statistics Calculator to open it.
2. In the navigation pane, click Binomial.
3. For Solve for, select the value for which to solve. Choices are Cumulative probability, Probability of one success with one trail, and Trail quantity.
Based on your selection, the parameters in which you must enter values become available under Parameters. For more information, see the table following this procedure.
4. Enter the necessary parameter values and click Calculate. Results for the value chosen for Solve for as well as for Probability of success quantity(%) are shown in display-only fields under Results.
Given the value to solve for, the following table lists the inputs required for and the results obtained from the binomial calculation.
