General Page
In the Plot Properties window, the General page provides general properties for the plot.
The following table describes the properties on the General page.
Property
Description
Title
The text for the title. The plot type is the default title. You can change the title to any text you want.
Subtitle
The text for the subtitle. The default is blank. You can enter any text you want.
Border style
Specifies the style to use for a border around the plot. Choices are:
Drop Shadow. When selected (default) a thin black line surrounds the plot, with a shadow border on both the right side and bottom.
Single Line. When selected, a thin line surrounds the plot.
No Border. When selected, no line surrounds the plot.
Inset. When selected, the plot appears as if it is in a frame. A thick black line appears on the left side and the top, and thick gray line appears on the right side and bottom.
Thick Line. When selected, a thick line surrounds the plot.
Grid lines
Indicates which grid lines to display. Choices are:
X and Y Axes. When selected (default), grid lines for both the y-axis and x-axis are shown.
Y Axis. When selected, a grid line for only the y-axis is shown. The grid line for the x-axis is hidden.
X Axis. When selected, a grid line for only the x-axis is shown. The grid line for the y-axis is hidden.
None. When selected, grid lines for both the y-axis and x-axis are hidden.
Legend location
Indicates where to place the legend. For more information, see Weibull Plot Legend. Choices include more than a dozen stationary locations plus Inside Moveable. This last choice allows you to click and drag the legend anywhere within the Weibull Plot pane.
Hide legend
Indicates whether to hide the legend. When this checkbox is cleared (default), the legend is shown. When it is selected, the legend is hidden.
