Calculating Weibull Results
Once appropriate parameter selections have been made for a data set, performing Weibull analysis is easy.
1. To open the Calculate window, do one of the following:
On the standard toolbar, click Calculate.
Select System > Calculate.
Press F8.
2. On the Calculation Selection page, select Weibull. If this checkbox is cleared, Weibull calculations do not run.
3. Complete the Weibull page. For more information, see Weibull Calculation Properties.
4. After entering any additional data for other calculations to perform, click OK to run the requested calculations.
The Calculation Progress window opens, displaying progress as calculations run. When they finish, the View Calculation Results window opens. If calculations for multiple modules are performed, Weibull calculation results appear on a Weibull Results page.
Calculation errors are shown for any data set that cannot be calculated. If results for a non-parametric life, warranty, or degradation data set are saved to a parametric data set for distribution-based analysis, the name of this data set is noted to the right of Resulting data set. Additionally, for degradation analysis, results exist for each group name. For more information, see Weibull Calculation Results.
At the bottom of the page are Excel and Print buttons, which you can use to save table results to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet or to print them to a printer. For more information, see Excel and Print Buttons.
5. When finished viewing results, click Close.
You can view these same calculation results again at any time. To do so, select System > View Calculation Results.
