Specifying Whether to Include the Alternate Part Number in the Search
Under
Parts Library Search in the
Options window,
Alternate part number search controls whether
Alternate Part Number is searched for part number matches. For more information, see
Part Number Searches.
1. Select > . The Options window opens.
2. Under Parts Library Search, locate Alternate part number search and do one of the following.
◦ To include this field in the search, ensure that this checkbox is selected.
◦ To exclude this field from the search, clear this checkbox.
3. When finished, close the Options window by clicking the X in the upper right corner.
