Inserting a Custom Environment or Quality Level from the System File
While you can insert custom environments and quality levels in the Project’s Prediction Values file, you can also quickly insert them from the System file.
1. Do one of the following:
a. To insert a custom environment, in the assembly’s Calculation Data pane, type the name to assign to the new environment for Environment and press Tab.
b. To insert a custom quality level, in the part’s Prediction Data pane, type the name to assign to the new quality level for Quality Level and press Tab.
If the model supports custom environments or quality levels, the Add Prediction Value window opens. For more information, see Add Prediction Value Window.
2. Enter the value to use for the Pi E factor (for the custom environment) or the Pi Q factor (for the custom quality level).
3. Click Yes to insert the custom environment or quality level in both the field list and the Prediction Values Library file. For more information, see Prediction Values Library Files.

The following models do not support custom environments: 217Plus, IEC TR 62380, Mechanical, PRISM, RDF 2000, and Siemens SN 29500 v1. The Siemens SN 29500 v1 model supports a custom quality level for only the Capacitor part category.
