Generating a Prediction Calculation Result over Range of Stresses Graph
When Calculation result over range of stresses is selected on the Data Type page of the Graph Wizard, you can graph a calculation result over a range of stresses.
1. Start the Graph Wizard and complete the first few pages as described in Generating a Prediction Graph.
2. On the Prediction Graph Type page, select Calculation result over range of stresses and click Next. The Select Calculation page appears. All data fields that store prediction calculation results are available for selection.
3. For Data field, select the result you want to graph and click Next. The Select Stresses page appears so that you can specify the stresses at which you want to show results on the graph.
Because the Range of stresses checkbox is selected by default, the options for specifying start and end stress values and an interval are available.
4. If you want to specify a range of stress values, do the following:
a. Ensure that the Range of stresses checkbox is selected.
b. For From, enter the lowest stress value for which to graph the result. The default is 0.
c. For To, enter the highest stress value at which to graph the result. The default is 100.
d. For Increment, enter the interval to use to determine the other stress values for which to show results. The default is 10.
5. If you want to supply specific stress values, do the following:
a. Select the Selected stresses checkbox. The field below this option becomes available so that you can enter the stress values at which you want to graph results.
b. Enter each stress value, using spaces to separate entries.
6. When finished, click Next. The Filter Data page appears so that you can indicate which records to use for the graph.
7. Complete this page, which is shown by most prediction reports. For more information, see Filter Data Page.
8. Click Next. The Graph Options page appears so that you can specify how the graph is to look.
9. Complete the Graph Options page and all remaining pages to generate the graph. For more information, see Specifying Graph Options.
Once the wizard closes, the Select Configuration window opens if more than one configuration exists in the System file.
10. If the Select Configuration window opens, select the appropriate configuration and click OK to generate the graph.
